Short meeting of the Wheaton Teen Advisory Board followed by a fun, stress-relieving Halloween craft and pizza!
TAB, or Teen Advisory Board, is a group of library teen volunteers that helps the library and the community by implementing, promoting and advocating for youth services in Montgomery County. It is also a way to earn SSL hours, learn valuable skills and have new experiences with like-minded teens, and rack up those important extra curricular activities that the college or university of your choice is looking for!
This time, we will be having a short meeting followed by a fun, relaxed craft activity to create rainbow-colored pumpkin ornaments to decorate the teen area of Wheaton library and other parts of the Library/Rec Center. Art/craft supplies will be provided. Also, refreshments are receiving an upgrade!
We hope to have pizza this time! Please let us know about any dietary restrictions or requirements in advance, and we will try to accommodate.
