STEM at the Library: Soil Microbiome

There's more to dirt than meets the eye! Join us for Soil Microbiome: are all bacteria bad? presented by Young Women in Bio.

Soil is full of bacteria – how can we grow healthy plants? Come learn about the diverse microbiome of bacteria and how farmers prepare the soil. (Involves hands-on activity with Legos!)

This program is for children 8-12 years of age. Registration is required for each participant.

This program is being presented by Young Women in Bio.

Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.
