The Golden Era at The Washington Post with Bob Levey

Join us for The Golden Era at The Washington Post with prize-winning journalist Bob Levey.

Bob Levey is a former columnist for The Washington Post and the author of the fictional novel, entitled Larry Felder, Candidate. Learn about his experiences as the first reporter hired by Ben Bradlee; what it was like to sit between Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein during Watergate, be on first-name basis with Katharine Graham, and discuss some thoughts on the current state of the media.

 
Bob Levey's novel follows the story of a famous Washington newspaper columnist who abandons journalism to run for Congress in Montgomery County. The main character of this novel is based on “all the superb political reporters” alongside whom he worked with for decades at The Post. Larry’s path gets massively complicated by love, corruption, the unexpected and those horrible beasts known as newspaper reporters.  For more information on Bob Levey, visit https://www.bobleveypublishing.com/bio.

The program is free and open to all and is presented by Little Falls Village in partnership with the Little Falls Library of Montgomery County Public Libraries. This event will be held in the meeting room on the ground floor of the Little Falls Library. Space is limited and registration is required by Wednesday, November 8th at 5:00pm.
