Practice reading aloud and build your confidence during a one-on-one reading session with a certified therapy dog.
We have a limited number of available time slots. Readers can sign up for a time slot up to one hour before the program at the Information Desk. Each reader will have ten minutes to read one-on-one with Emmy Lou or Easton, our certified therapy dogs!
This program is specifically targeted to children 5 years old and up who have some ability to read aloud on their own.
Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.
