Did you know March is Women’s History Month? In honor of this observance the Montgomery County Commission for Women will be providing an information table on our main floor. An advisory board to, and an office of, the county government, the Commission’s primary focus is to improve women’s lives through identifying inequities and providing recommendations that promote remedies. Learn about the seminars they provide on a variety of topics, the archives and the quilt project they created to honor women of historical significance to Montgomery County, the STEM scholarships they offer in conjunction with the Montgomery College Foundation, and all of the advocacy projects they do.
