For newly or almost independent readers, grades 2 & 3. Join the fun!
White Oak Library's Wild Readers Book Club is the place to be for newly or almost independent readers in grades 2 & 3. Pick up your copy of this month's book then come to the meeting to talk about it with other kids.
We will announce our January selection at our December meetings. You can pick up your book at the meeting, at White Oak Library Checkout Desk starting December 11, or borrow it through Hoopla.
Read the book on your own, then come ready to discuss the book and play a game or do another fun activity.
This is an independent learning experience. Parents and caregivers will not be present in the program room but must remain in the library building during the program.
Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.
