Celebrate the birthday of Louis Braille, who invented the six-dot writing system still used by blind people throughout the world today.
Join the Sligo Creek Chapter of the National Federation of the Blind and the Montgomery County Library Accessibility Advisory Committee to celebrate the birthday of Louis Braille, who invented the six-dot writing system still used by blind people throughout the world today. We will learn about braille and blind people, play games, and have a birthday cake. This event will take place in the first floor meeting room, at the Rockville Memorial Library.
