Teens Prepare for MoCo Science Fair In-person

Project consultations with Dr. Miguel Mitchell

Generate ideas for YOUR science fair project with MIT trained scientist, Miguel Mitchell. *Register with a non-MCPS email address for the fair and for this library program.*

Attention college-bound teens! Did you know that participating in a science fair can make your college application shine? Consider participating in the 2023 Montgomery County Science Fair.  Registration for the Science Fair has begun and will continue through February 1.

Don't know what you could do for a project? Brainstorm with local scientist, Miguel Mitchell, PhD at the Davis Library. Register with your email address and a librarian will schedule you for a thirty minute idea-creating session with Dr. Mitchell!

Take a look at this print resource to get the ideas bubbling: Chemistry: investigate the matter that makes up your world by Carla Mooney. On Hoopla, watch a video production by Great Courses called Physics and Our Universe: how it all works: magnetic energy. Please come to your local branch library and ask a librarian to show you were the science books are shelved.

Don't have a card right now?  No worries!  Find out how to Get a Library Card.
