Join us to celebrate Oceans of Possibilities at MCPL!

The 2022 Summer Reading Challenge! Kick-off party will be held rain or shine on Saturday, June 18, from 10:30 -12:00 noon at the Rockville Library. If it rains, festivities will move indoors.

The 2022 Summer Reading Challenge! Kick-off party will be held rain or shine on Saturday, June 18, from 10:30 -12:00 noon at the Rockville Library. If it rains, festivities will move indoors. Outside you can visit the hands-on Chesapeake Bay Foundation table where you can explore objects that showcase efforts to Save the Bay! Meanwhile, Abracadabra Alex will be strolling through the crowd with his special ocean-themed brand of magic. Indoors, you can sign up for the Summer Reading Challenge! and pick up your free book in the first floor meeting room. Plus, children of all ages can visit the maker-tables in the atrium to create ocean-themed crafts.
