In honor of National Hispanic/Latino Heritage month, join us as we discover the Mexican folk art called Hojalata!
Since the 1500’s, Mexican artisans have been shaping, stamping, and painting metal into affordable works of art. In this program, we will learn where tin art came from and how it is use. We will then create our own Hojalata art by using items we have around the house.
