Are you still hesitant about developing your own native garden? Don't worry if you missed the first session. There will be plenty of information at this session to help you start your native garden.
This presentation is a follow-up to Linda's March 26th event, "Developing a Native Garden" which resulted in a myriad of questions from attendees. Since we ran out of time at the March event to answer all of the participant questions, Linda will devote this session to answer your questions on developing a native garden!
Linda Rieger has been a Master Gardener since 2016 working mainly in the Conservation area at the Demonstration Garden of the University of Maryland.
Linda is involved in the University of Maryland's Master Gardener Extension Services and is on the action committee of the Natural Places Committee of the Sierra Club, is on the board of the Montgomery County garden Clubs and participates in The Wild Ones of the Chesapeake. Emphasis is placed on adding native plants no matter the size of your lot. Linda will discuss native plants that discourage the deer and bring color in your garden throughout the seasons. She will also go over the resource list that is being sent to all registrants.
This program is free and open to all and is presented by Little Falls Village in partnership with the Little Falls Library of Montgomery County Public Libraries.
