In honor of Asian American & Pacific Islander Heritage Month, join us for a discussion on the art of henna, followed by a fun craft!
Today, henna is now popular in India, as well as the Middle East, Europe, Australia, Canada, and the United States. In this program we will learn more about the art of henna it's history. After the discussion, we will create our own handprint henna art. Instead of creating art on our hands and bodies, we will trace our hands on a sheet of paper and then use q-tips and paint to create our own henna patterns.
