Children's author Ai-Ling Louie will discuss her books in celebration of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month!

Join us virtually to meet children's author Ai-Ling Louie discuss her books! She is the author of many children's biographies, such as Astronaut Kalpana Chawla: Reaching for the Stars, and the picture book, Yeh-Shen: A Cinderella Story from China. Her first book, Yeh-Shen, A Cinderella Story From China, is a folk tale passed down from her grandmother. It is one of the oldest written Cinderella stories in the world. Her latest book is a children's biography called, Patsy Mink, Mother of Title 9. Patsy Mink was a US Congresswoman from Hawai'i and she co-wrote Title IX, an important law affecting education and sports. We are excited to have her as part of our celebration of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month!
