Chris Ziemba (piano) and Mike Cemprola (saxophone) have been making music together for years.
Drawing on their mutual view of jazz standards and original compositions as improvisational vehicles, they approach each piece with as few preconceptions as possible, allowing for endless musical possibilities. This duo’s long performance history and shared command of the jazz idiom promise that this performance will be a truly unique and memorable event. The program is part of our First Sunday of the Month music series sponsored by Friends of the Library, Rockville Memorial Chapter. The performance is free and open to the public; it is appropriate for all ages.
