In observance of Black History Month, Richard Bell will discuss STOLEN: Five Free Boys Kidnapped into Slavery and Their Astonishing Odyssey Home, a true story of five free African American boys—Cornelius Sinclair, Sam Scomp, Enos Tilghman, Alex Manlove, and Joe Johnson—who were kidnapped in Philadelphia in 1825, lured onto a ship with promises of food and pay. This program is sponsored by FOLMC-Germantown Chapter. Following the program, there will be a book signing.
