Chinese Calligraphy Workshop for Seniors (age 55+)

Asian Pacific American Heritage and Older Americans Month

May is Asian Pacific American Heritage Month and Older Americans Month! Are you interested in learning the fundamentals of standard script in Chinese calligraphy? If so, sign up for this workshop!

You will be introduced to the basic techniques in rendering the strokes and learn composition principles of Chinese characters. Class size limited to 10 participants, ages 55+.

Students need to provide a shallow dish to hold the ink and a glass bottle to hold water; other basic supplies will be provided (brush, ink and paper).
