Celebrate the historical Centennial of the 19th Amendment as this humanities-themed recital brings music, narration, and violin selections to life. Supported by Friends of the Library, Chevy Chase.
This recital includes poignant music, historical narration, and Black classical musicians to describe the music of the era from the first voting legislation 1776, the 15th Amendment, to today's voting. Come enjoy live music and narration presented by the Coalition of African Americans in the Performing Arts in celebration of Black History.
