STEM Fest Extravaganza! presented by FTC team 47 Beavers

Stop by our STEM Fest Extravaganza to celebrate the 13th anniversary of the Maryland STEM Festival!

To celebrate the 13th anniversary of the Maryland STEM Festival, Gaithersburg Library is partnering with local teen robotics team, 47 Beavers, to bring you a STEM Fest Extravaganza!

Come experience engineering challenges with hands on science stations and meet people who work in different STEM fields. Activities include:

• building a balloon powered car,
• designing a mini catapult,
• constructing a marshmallow tower,
• experimenting different physical forces with Imagination Playgrounds Blue Blocks,
• and more!

For 1st to 8th graders, but families of all ages welcome. Parents/caregivers MUST accompany children under the age of 8 during the program.

Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.
