Computer and Internet Basics - In-person

at Twinbrook Library

We'll go over computer basics, what the Internet is, web browsers, search engines and getting started with email. This is a hands-on class to help you use the Internet in daily life situations.

Attendees should be able to use a mouse and keyboard and be able to type words and numbers. This program is a stand-alone session; it is not part of a series of classes. There will be an opportunity for individual questions and help.

Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.

If you plan to attend with a group of ten or more, please contact the branch at least one week before the program to discuss how your group might be accommodated.
