Join Cher, also known as La Bodoquita, for a dynamic journey through Rock en Español. A Mexican-American vinyl selector celebrated for an eclectic, feel-driven style, La Bodoquita seamlessly blends Cumbia, Latin American rock, soul, and more into sets that invite everyone to move. Rooted in the sounds that shaped her, Cher’s musical selections honor deep cultural connections while creating an atmosphere where community, rhythm, and joy come together.

Experience a vibrant mix of genres and eras as she shares the energy and spirit of Rock en Español through vinyl.

Vinyl Day: Just for the Record is a day dedicated to Record and DJ culture in Montgomery County. This free family-friendly music festival featuring workshops, speakers and more! This event is generously sponsored by Friends of the Library, Montgomery County Inc. (FOLMC).

Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.
