Unearthing the Lost Worlds of Dinosaurs
A Journey Way Back in Time -- at the Library!
Wednesday, July 29
6:30pm - 7:30pm
An interactive presentation and craft for ages 3-10. Learn about where, when, and how dinosaurs lived; what happened to them; and how paleontology helps us discover more about them.
Join us at the Connie Morella Library tonight as we go way back in time to uncover dinosaur life during several different prehistoric eras. We'll learn about a range of dinosaurs, their special features, the ways they adapted and changed over time, and what eventually happened to them, using the scientific field of paleontology as our guide to finding and making sense of what dinosaurs left behind. This interactive presentation will include plenty of opportunity for questions-and-answers, some hands-on experience with finding fossils, and a chance to create your own dinosaur scene or color one of your favorite model dinosaurs! Recommended for ages 3-10.
Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.
