The Busy World of Squirrels!

A Fall Nature Program

Come join us and learn about squirrels and what keeps them so busy in the fall! An interactive presentation with stories, a singalong, crafts and coloring. Recommended for ages 3-8.

Why are squirrels so busy in the fall? Come join us as we learn some facts about these nutty, furry friends: their different varieties, what they eat, how they live, how they prepare for winter, and why they are important to nature. Then we'll meet a couple of squirrels featured in storybooks, share in a singalong, and finish with hands-on craft and coloring activities. Recommended for ages 3-8.

Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.

If you plan to attend with a group of ten or more, please contact the branch at least one week before the program to discuss how your group might be accommodated.
