The Chevy Chase Library elevator currently out of service and undergoing modernization replacement. This program is held in the downstairs meeting room, and it is only accessible by the stairs.

Please stop by and join Bethesda Quilters for quilt guild meetings where we often have great speakers on quilting and fabric arts. Other meetings are social gatherings and/or workshops. This friendly group of quilters meets in person on the first Tuesday of the month, from 1-3pm. An exception is November, due to the election, and Bethesda Quilters will meet on the second Tuesday that month. No experience is needed - just an interest in quilting and fabric arts. Bring a project for show & tell.  New quilters are always welcome.

The group meets in the downstairs meeting room, accessible through the main lobby. If you have questions about this program, call the Chevy Chase Library at 240-773-9590.

Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.

If you plan to attend with a group of ten or more, please contact the branch at least one week before the program to discuss how your group might be accommodated.

Accommodation Requests

People who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing should request English-language captioning or sign-language interpretation at least five days before the library-sponsored program they plan to attend. Contact the Assistant Facilities and Accessibility Program Manager at 240-777-0002 with all other accommodation requests.
