Fact Finders, a Summer Nonfiction Book Club
Times and Places
Thursday, July 30
5:00pm - 5:45pm
Every week in July we will talk about the amazing, cool, and even disgusting things we've read in the week's books. Come one week, two, three, or all four.
This week is about history and geography. Do you like to read about where your family came from? Or about knights or mummies? Life in the past? This is the week for you!
Come ready to share a fact or two with others, play some games or do an activity. Reading informational texts helps build vocabulary and knowledge of the world around us. This is a book club for children who can read independently. Caregivers must remain in the building but do not attend the session.
This is an independent learning experience. Parents and caregivers will not be present in the program room but must remain in the library building during the program.
Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.
