Join master artist Kofi Dennis for an imaginary journey to share in the sounds, drumming, and movements of African rhythmic traditions. Discover call and response songs, stories, traditional instruments, and games in a highly interactive exploration of African cultures and customs.

The Chevy Chase Library elevator is currently out of service and undergoing modernization replacement. This program will be held in the downstairs meeting room, and will only be accessible by the stairs

Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.
