Join us to celebrate Arab-American Heritage Month with this interactive program that will introduce you to Arab and Arab-American poets, presented by local poets, Layanne Khaskia & Ramsey Hanhan.
Attention all poetry lovers, join us for a brief discussion on the history and significance of poetry in Arab culture. A special focus will be given to story-telling within poetry. Layanne and Ramsey will share their work and their writing process. This is a time where everyone will be encouraged to share their thoughts. Poetry is meant to be shared and discussed, so we will do just that! We will end the event with a group writing activity to flex our creative muscles and craft something beautiful.
