Crafts at the Library: Earth Day Golf Ball Painting

Join us for a Golf Ball Painting craft program!

Celebrate Earth Day and join us for Golf Ball Painting using recycled and repurposed materials! We'll put paper in a box, add some blobs of paint, put a golf ball or three in the box, then tilt the box back and forth until we create a masterpiece. Bring home the paintings AND the decorated golf balls. Although we'll be using washable paint, we recommend wearing old clothes. This hands-on activity will stimulate your child's creativity and imagination, while helping them develop critical fine motor skills.

We will provide all the materials for this program.

Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.

If you plan to attend with a group of ten or more, please contact the branch at least one week before the program to discuss how your group might be accommodated.
