STEAM at the Library: Egg Carton Geodes

Have a sparkling good time crafting your own geode!

Come to the Olney Library to learn about those amazing sparkling geodes and craft your own out of egg cartons to take home with you! This hands-on program will provide children with the opportunity to use their critical thinking and problem-solving skills to achieve a result. 

All materials provided. 

This program is designed for children 8 years old and above. Children under 8 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.

Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.

If you plan to attend with a group of ten or more, please contact the branch at least one week before the program to discuss how your group might be accommodated.
