This introductory talk will show new users how chatbots like ChatGPT can be a helpful tool in daily life. We’ll explore practical examples—from answering questions and summarizing information to writing emails, planning trips, and creating new recipes. Designed for beginners, this talk will provide simple demonstrations and tips to help you feel confident using ChatGPT as a personal assistant, learning companion, and creativity booster.
Victor Rezmovic, PhD, was trained in quantitative methods and social science research, having earned his doctorate in social psychology at Syracuse University. He was fortunate to have discovered the world of personal computers which led him to a career as a technology consultant and educator. After retiring from working on consulting contracts at agencies like the DOJ and the FBI, he has dedicated himself to teaching practical uses of technology such as using the Cloud, disconnecting from cable TV, and staying safe online. He has been teaching at Montgomery College and several adult learning centers since 2017.
