Meeting Overview
Quince Orchard Library will host an in-person interest meeting for teens who want to learn about the Teen Advisory Board (TAB) Executive Committee. The Executive Committee is a small teen leadership team that helps TAB plan, coordinate, and follow through between regular TAB meetings. Executive Committee members help move ideas from brainstorming to finished programs and completed projects.

Executive Committee service builds skills that schools and employers value, including reliability, communication, teamwork, organization, initiative, problem solving, and public speaking. Executive Committee service also produces documented work that strengthens applications, resumes, and interview responses.

SSL Hours
Teens who attend in person will earn 1 SSL hour for meeting attendance. Staff will record attendance on site. Teens who want to be considered for an Executive Committee role should attend to ensure a consistent and fair selection process.

Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.
If you plan to attend with a group of ten or more, please contact the branch at least one week before the program to discuss how your group might be accommodated.

People who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing should request English-language captioning or sign-language interpretation at least five days before the library-sponsored program they plan to attend.
