Join us to discuss "The Art Thief," a true-crime account by Michael Finkel of an obsessive museum burglar and his daring heists.

Join us to discuss The Art Thief: A True Story of Love, Crime, and a Dangerous Obsession by Michael Finkel. This nonfiction narrative follows a compulsive art thief and his partner as they steal masterpieces from museums across Europe, revealing a strange blend of love, obsession, and audacity behind the crimes.

By joining this MCPL program, you agree to abide by our rules of conduct. Library staff has the authority to remove you from this program if we deem your behavior to be inappropriate, to ensure the safety of staff and customers.

Library program attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.

If you plan to attend with a group of ten or more, please contact the branch at least one week before the program to discuss how your group might be accommodated.
