In celebration of Black History Month, join us for a demonstration of hip hop dance.
Hip hop dance is a freestyle, improvisational style of street dance that originated in the 1970s. It is characterized by movements that are in sync with hip hop music. Elements Urban Arts Collective will provide a demonstration of hip hop dance and attendees will have an opportunity to learn.
This program is generously sponsored by the Friends of the Library, Montgomery County.
