Learn about Microsoft Word by completing a hands-on project. Registration required. Please note: Students will be using the library's laptop computers for this class (not tablets or ipads).
This class is for students new to working with Microsoft Word. With MS Word, you can create letters, school or business reports, flyers, resumes, and other documents with text and simple graphics. Students will learn to create, edit, save, format, and print Microsoft Word documents.
Familiarity with using a computer mouse is helpful, but is not required.
Please note: Students and the instructor will be using library-issued laptops for this class (not tablets or ipads).

Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.
If you plan to attend with a group of ten or more, please contact the branch at least one week before the program to discuss how your group might be accommodated.

People who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing should request English-language captioning or sign-language interpretation at least five days before the library-sponsored program they plan to attend.
