Special yoga session just for teens for Teen Mental Health Week
This year Montgomery County Public Libraries and Montgomery County Public Schools are observing Teen Mental Health Week from November 2-8, 2025.
Join us in the 3rd floor meeting room where we'll be hosting a special session of yoga designed with teens in mind. Decompress from the stress of school and other responsibilities with mindfulness activities and resources from 4pm-6pm. Yoga begins at 4:30pm. Limited mats will be available, but participants are encouraged to bring their own. Drop ins are welcome!
Help with clean up after the program and contribute to our new Teen Area decorations to get SSL hours.
Join us every Wednesday night for activities for teens. There will be a wide variety of activities including movies, gaming, arts & craft, Lo-fi Study sessions, guest speakers, and more! Ask to speak with our Teen Librarians for more detailed information on what's planned each week. Have fun with friends, make new ones, or just hang out. Drop ins welcome, no registration needed! Snacks and SSL hours provided!
This program is for ages 13-19. Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program.
