Get into the Halloween spirit with bilingual Storytime, family fun, and a tour of MonsterFlash, MCDOT's not-so-spooky "haunted" bus! Costumes are welcome!
Join Germantown Library for a fun-filled Halloween event on Oct 25th! From 2:00pm - 4:00pm come explore the Monster Flash not-so-spooky "haunted" bus from the Montgomery County Department of Transportation, along with various other county departments. Explore the decorated bus and learn about the new Flash bus line being developed!
Families and children can also enjoy -
- 2:00 - Halloween Crafts
- 2:00 - Spooky Paper Circuits STEAM Ages: 3+, Limited free tickets available in-person 30 minutes before the event at the Children's Information Desk
- 2:30 - Bilingual Storytime in English and Spanish
- 3:00 - Dance Party

Ven a la Biblioteca de Germantown para un evento de Halloween lleno de diversión el 25 de octubre! De 2:00 p. m. a 4:00 p. m., ven a explorar el autobús Monster Flash del Departamento de Transporte del Condado de Montgomery, el cual estará decorado para festejar Halloween. También contaremos con la participación de otros departamentos del condado. ¡Ven y explora el autobús decorado y aprende sobre la nueva ruta de autobuses Flash que se está planeando!
Las familias y los niños pueden disfrutar de lo siguiente -
- 2:00 p. m. – Manualidades (mientras haya disponibilidad)
- 2:00 p. m. – Circuitos electrónicos de papel (STEAM). A partir de 3 años en adelante. El espacio es limitado y requiere boletos. Los boletos gratuitos estarán disponibles en persona 30 minutos antes del evento en la sección de Información Infantil.
- 2:30 p. m. – Hora de cuentos en inglés y español
- 3:00 p. m. – ¡Fiesta de baile!

Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.
