Creativity is a great way for kids to relax. Every month, kids will learn and explore a new type of art they can practice at home. Each month will focus on a new artist!

Art is a great way to regulate emotions and practice self care, especially for children, who are constantly growing and learning. This art program is designed to encourage creative discovery in elementary aged kids. Kids can practice different types of art as a way to relax and calm their busy minds. Participants will try all kinds of art inspired by artists from around the world, with each month’s program drawing inspiration from a different artist around the world. What will you discover?

This month’s artist is William Morris. Learn more about him here and see some of his art!

This program is funded by the Friends of the Library, Montgomery County.

Please arrive within 15 minutes of the program start time so, your child has enough time to complete the program. No admittance once activity has started.
