Not-So-Spooky Storytime at Wheaton Library - In-person

Join us, this Halloween, for a Not-So-Spooky Storytime! Costumes are welcome but are not required. *Tickets Required.

A storytelling event designed for young children, avoids genuinely frightening or intense content.  Costumes are welcome but not required.

We will create a fun, lighthearted atmosphere with playful stories and activities that are age-appropriate for younger audiences.  Tickets will be handed out, first-come, first-served, at the information desk at 10:15.  Space is extremely limited.​ 

These programs encourage children to develop a lifelong love of reading and learning and introduce them to the culture of reading.​ 

Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.

Accommodation Requests

People who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing should request English-language captioning or sign-language interpretation at least five days before the library-sponsored program they plan to attend. Contact the Assistant Facilities and Accessibility Program Manager at 240-777-0002 with all other accommodation requests.
