Join the NIH Brass Ensemble for some holiday cheer!
No reservations required.
Celebrate the Winter Solstice! The Bethesda Brass Ensemble (BBE) of the NIH Community Orchestra will perform a variety of seasonal and holiday selections.
Members of the ensemble have been performing for more than 20 years at venues throughout Montgomery County. Known for an eclectic repertoire which includes light classical, renaissance, baroque, pop, marches and movie themes, they have delighted audiences at picnics, farmers markets, senior centers and public libraries. The group has provided Christmas music at locations as wide ranging as community centers and retirement homes, as well as the British Embassy (or greeting arriving travelers at BWI airport).
The program for this concert includes several traditional carols as well as some Hanukkah and dreidel songs.
