Join us for a monthly book club for children who are in 2nd and 3rd grades (ages 7-9). We read the Magic Tree House series by Mary Pope Osborne, and meet each 2nd Wednesday of the month at 4:00 p.m.
At this month's meeting, we will be discussing Magic Tree House: The Knights at Dawn. You can check out a copy from the library to read ahead of time, but if you haven’t read the book by the date of the meeting, don’t worry—please join us anyway!
Children take turns listening, and are invited to participate in the discussion, about the book. We then do a fun, enriching activity and listen to a read-aloud of the first chapter of the following month’s book. Each child is invited to check out the following month's book, and receives a special bookmark to keep. Join us as we build confidence and a love of reading while having fun!
