Enjoy a discussion on the historic arena, site of many major sports events and concerts from 1973-2002. The authors will share photos, stories, and host a panel on professional wrestling at the CC.

The program will include a panel devoted to professional wrestling history at the Capital Centre/US Air Arena with Capital Centre’s ‘Pro Wrestler’ Harvey Smilovitz, plus longtime wrestling authorities Max Theise and Pat Carroll (of the Langley Punks). "Capital Centre | A Retrospective" is a 280-page hardcover visual history of the legendary Capital Centre arena, created to commemorate its 50th anniversary, written by The Laurel History Boys (Richard Friend, Kevin Leonard) and director/ writer Jeff Krulik. Copies of the book will be available for purchase and signing by the authors, from Friends of the Library Montgomery County.
