Energy Express is a summer event for kids and families to learn about energy usage.

Join us for "Powering a Colorful World" where we'll explore how electric vehicles and smart home devices make our world cleaner and more colorful.  Energy Express is a summer event where kids and families learn about energy usage. A partnership between the Department of Environmental Protection, Nature Forward, and Montgomery County Public Libraries, these interactive presentations add an energy lens to our Summer Reading theme, Color Our World.  P.O.W.E.R. students will guide children aged 6 to 12 to explore renewable energy worldwide.

P.O.W.E.R., or Peer Outreach With Energy Resources, is an energy education program organized by the Montgomery County Department of Environmental Protection and Nature Forward.

This program is intended for children ages 6-12 years old. Registration is required.

This program has been generously sponsored by the Friends of the Library, Montgomery County.
