Learn and understand the basics of using a computer and understanding computers. This course is for absolute beginners with no prior experience with computers.
In this class you will learn the basics of using a computer with a Windows operating system. You will learn important vocabulary related to computer systems, using the mouse, opening and closing windows, the difference between hardware & software, how to identify hardware and software, and keyboard and shortcut features. Also included is information on using the public computers at Montgomery County Public Library. You will also learn how to open applications, and introduced to basic the Internet. This course is for absolute beginners with no prior experience with computers.
