A fun, mess-free sensory experience for little ones from birth to pre-walking babies. We will provide the paint, paper, and ziploc bags. Babies can pat, squish, and squeeze their bag, making their own masterpiece. This is an excellent tummy time activity and will help smaller babies strengthen the muscles in their upper bodies. Babies who are already sitting up will enjoy feeling the paint between their fingers and seeing the colors mix. 

In addition to art supplies, we will provide developmentally appropriate toys. Caregivers and their babies are encouraged to play and explore in whichever way suits them best!

Please Note: This program is for babies from birth to pre-walking. Children who are walking on their own are encouraged to attend Toddler Art at 11:30.

Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.
