Montgomery County Public Libraries is collaborating with the Jewish Council for the Aging (JCA) Heyman Interages Center for Read Across America Week, which this year is from March 2nd to 7th, 2025.
Join us at Gaithersburg Library to celebrate a love of literacy by reading one-on-one with previously selected JCA Interages volunteers. Children can bring their own book or select one from the library. JCA volunteers are preselected and vetted and trained by JCA staff in communication and intergenerational interactions.
This program is geared toward children in Kindergarten through 3rd grade. No advanced registration needed. Participants can drop-in.
