Write poetry in honor of National Poetry Month!
In honor of National Poetry Month, we are inviting elementary-age students to participate in Words and Rhymes, a program where children will write their own poetry and perform it in a Poetry Slam. We will provide all materials for the program. The suggested age range for participants in this program is 8-12.
Questions about this program? Contact the branch 240-777-0140. Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.
