This adult crochet event has two sessions. The first session begins at 2pm for advanced and intermediate skilled crocheters. The second session begins at 3:15pm is for beginner crocheters.
This adult crochet event is in two separate sessions. The first session begins at 2pm for advanced and intermediate skilled crocheters. The second session begins at 3:15pm is for beginner crocheters
The program is suitable for attendees 15 and older. It is not appropriate for young children. Children will not be admitted to this event.
Session 1 2:00PM - 3:00PM: Advanced skills will be presented in this session. You will have opportunity to learn and collaborate with others on crochet techniques. The main goal of session one is to create a community afghan with granny squares.
Session 2 3:15- 4:15PM: Basic crochet skills will be presented in this session. Beginner crocheters and those with no experience will learn basic stitches, chain links and how to create a slip knot loop around the crochet hook and how to hold the hook.
Due to limited supply. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own yarn and crochet hooks. The recommended crochet hooks for this program are 5mm-6mm or corresponding letter G, H, and J. To learn more about how to select a crochet hook read this information.
Registration is required for this craft program. Please remember your skill level and remember which session to attend. You may attend both if you like. However, basics skills will not be presented in advance session.
