This Holiday Season, join the adventure as eleven-year-old Maria and Matty set out on a snowy night to search for a last-minute gift and discover the mysterious shop of the Book Cook, who teaches them how to create their own stories and bring them to life! Who knows, maybe you’re about to begin your own brand-new Holiday Tradition with The Book Cook.
In this engaging program, Dan will kick off with a short reading from his book, The Book Cook. After the reading, participants will dive into fun story writing and illustrating activities, encouraging their imaginations to run wild.
Recommended for ages 6 and up.
The Book Cook is the delightful children’s picture book debut from author D.C Swanson and illustrator Clint Hansen. Author D.C. Swanson lives in Bethesda with his wife, two daughters, and a couple of crowded bookshelves.
