Teen Advisory Board Meeting: every third Thursday of the month, 5:00-6:30. This meeting will focus on a presentation on Unpacking Racism.
Join us for a monthly Teen Advisory Board meeting and earn SSL hours! This April meeting will include a presentation by SMYAL, an organization that supports and mentors youth advocates and leaders. The presentation will foster critical discussion around systemic racism, implicit biases, and the crucial role of allyship in creating inclusive environments. Participants will have the opportunity to explore their own biases, learn about the history and impact of systemic racism, and develop effective strategies for promoting equity and allyship in their lives.
