Learn the basics of using Blender for modeling and animation. Learn to visually portray anything your imagination can dream up. For ages 11-18. Registration is required.
3D models appear everywhere: animated films and TV shows, in art, printed models, apps, and even video games! Digital art and 3D modeling have become not only a way to artistically express oneself, but also a viable career path as companies search for these skills. Dr. William Harrison will lead students through a workshop on Blender, a free software used for 3D modeling, about the basics of modeling and animation. By the end of the session, participants will be capable of making a simple model and animation.
All participants should have some previous coding experience.
