The mini-comic book is a fun format for telling a story in words and pictures. Using one folded sheet of paper, you will write and illustrate a brief (6–8 page) narrative that can be factual, fictional, or a combination of both. Come to the workshop with an idea, which can take the form of a story, poem, recipe, daydream… it’s up to you.
Registration is required. Art supplies to be used during the workshop will be provided. Space is limited to 15 participants ages 10–15.
This workshop, led by artist Leila Cabib, is funded in part by a Wheaton Cultural Project Grant from the Arts and Humanities Council of Montgomery County.
